It is commonly known as the Metal Sheet Cannister. It is one of the most important components of the Cable Jointing Kits. This product is wrap around the cable joint and acts as an armour to the joint. It gives steadiness and stability to the joint. Cannisters are normally galvanised or made of aluminium. They are corrosion resistant& used to protect the joint against mechanical damage and to provide electrical continuity of cable armour. Duct Tapes are normally used near the edges of the cannisters which are large in size. This helps in maintaining uniform space and avoid entanglement of the end fingers strips
