A constant-force spring is a spring for which the force it exerts over its range of motion is a constant. The highlight of the product is that the entire spring compresses with constant force irrespective of the OD of the cable on which it is used. It is commonly known as the Steel roll spring and is a component of the cable jointing kit. Steel roll spring is used to connect the copper braid to the tape shield of the plastic cable cover or lead sheath of the plastic cable cover or paper of cable cover, while maintaining constant pressure.
